In the latest survey of the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS), The Philippines have ranked only 41st among 46 participating countries around the world. This is quite alarming considering that the youth is the hope of our future. What will be the future of the Philippines if our students, especially those street children who can't afford to go to school, were not given an utmost consideration in our country?
In light with this, we would like to invite all of you in our upcoming Run for Better Education: “Making a Big Difference in Changing Lives”, to be held in New Port, Pasay City, Metro Manila on May 15, 2011, Sunday at 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. The Race has 3 categories for both students and professionals, namely: 10K Run, 5K Run, and 3K Run. Participant’s fee costs Php350 for both students and professionals.
